Two thoughts: My late father, Harlow Lent, an abstract expressionist artist, said that good art art is 10% talent and 90% hard work..
On the other hand, he was fascinated by the art work of chidren and influenced by what is natural, not forced, original, primitive.

tal como dices, hay una relación entre este arte abstracto y el momento en que surgió.

Y además, como bien apuntas, el tamaño en estas pinturas abstractas modernas es una de la claves del impacto final y probablemente del compromiso de los artistas. ¿Hay alguien capaz de imaginarse un Newman, un Rothko o un Pollock en formato pequeño?

Imagino los formatos de grandes dimensiones como una bocanada de aire fresco donde renovar y experimentar nuevos caminos estéticos.
