While having coffee in a terrace near Barcelona´s contemporary art museum, I started watching a building in front of me that did not let me see what was behind it. The more I looked the more I wanted to see what was behind, but I couldn´t! The building was occupying a space that should have been empty before. Furthermore, I saw the building as a plane that was in front of another plane (other buildings), and this process repeated itself wherever I looked. Space Occupancy´s abstract painting collection tries to answer many questions around this spatial concept.
The collection includes 21 abstract drawings and paintings on different surfaces and techniques.
