A medida que pasa el tiempo soy de la opinión que mi vida puede ser una consecución de paradojas todas ellas necesarias para que pueda ser lo que soy hoy, y seguir creciendo en espiral (como me dijo una amiga que me hizo hace poco la carta astral).
Parajoda: paradoja que, además, termina siendo cruel para alguna de las partes… (definición que he encontrado gugueleando por ahí)
Pues bien, hablando de paradojas la semana que viene realizo la 1ª exposición de pintura de mi vida. Se hará en el Club Natació Barcelona (4 al 28 julio). La hago junto con mi hermana (ela, la mejor y más comprometida diseñadora de joyas que conozco), con otro pintor, Nacho Rodriguez, y otra joyera Inma Cañero. Lo hemos llamado Fusión de Arte.
Si me lo dicen hace 1 año ni me lo creo. Qué otra cosa puedo decir que estoy feliz, alucinado, flotando y agradecido. Es incréible!!!
Dice mi amigo y mentor Xavier Ribas (otro gran comprometido, conocedor de la pintura y del arte, que cuando vea los cuadros colgados, además de fliparlo, algo mágico va a suceder. Parece ser que se establece un nuevo diálogo entre la obra y el artista, del que surgen nuevas ideas que sirven para seguir trabajando y profundizando.
La expo gira entorno al tema que he desarrollado durante casi 2 años. Inicialmente lo llamé Matrix, luego evolucionó a City Matrix, y ahora estoy en el Inside my own matrix (dentro de mi propia matrix). Es una reflexión sobre la tensión, el kaos, la aglomeración, las barreras del inconsciente, la forma, el fondo, el espacio, el infinito, el no principio ni fin, los pensamientos circulares que a tod@s nos acechan…
Confío que os guste, que vengáis si podéis y que la disfrutéis tanto como yo estoy disfrutando este gran momento.

Well, speaking of paradoxes next week takes place the 1st painting exhibition of my life. It will be in Barcelona Swimming Club (4 to 28 July). I do it with my sister (ela, better and more committed jewelry designer I know), another painter, Nacho Rodriguez, and other jewelry Inma Cañero. We call it Fusion of Art.
If some one would have told me 1 year ago…. What can I say besides I’m happy, stunned, floating and grateful. It’s amazing!
Says my friend and mentor Xavier Ribas (another great committed connoisseur of painting and art) that when you see the pictures hanging, something magical happens. It is a kind of a new dialogue between the artwork and the artist, of which new ideas appear and serve to keep the work going and deepening.
The exhibition revolves around the theme I have developed for almost 2 years. Initially I called it Matrix, then some City Matrix´s happened, , and right now I’m on Inside my own matrix.
It´s a reflection on tension, kaos, metropolis, the barriers of the unconscious, shape, depth, space, infinity, no beginning or end, circular thoughts that haunt us …
