Week´s best abstract art discoveries and recomendations.
This post as many previous ones collapsed some time ago!. Sorry. You will not be able to see the images but you can still enjoy the links, take a look at the artists names a read current posts you´ll fine on this abstract art blog´s home page.
I normally find some of my conceptual abstract art inspirations surfing the web (I´m very active on this). They deal with contemporary and non contemporary art (mainly abstract), art articles and critics, contemporary photography, modern art blogs, art exhibitions…. The list is enormous. Each week I find incredible things that help me in my current abstract art creative process.
So, let´s start!!
The above picture is a spanish artist Gerardo Rueda abstract painting. It´s simply fascinating? The combination of color, geometry figures, composition and painting technique makes this painting one of my favorites to contemplate.
Now let me show some blue abstract paintings and photography found this week. I´m currently a bit obsessed about the Blue color and the concept of space occupancy, so I´m very sensitive to abstract art creations that incorporate these characteristics.
To finish with this week discoveries, the colorful and surprisings installations of mexican artist Gabriel Dawe. Color mixture and visual game, materials used, light, space occupancy …. Brilliant!!!. It makes me think about opt art as well as a Dan Flavin light installation of the 60´s.
This art blog (according to my statistics) is red from all around the world art lovers. If we all share our findings we will create something special and enriching. So come on ….!!! feel free to share yours below, give your oppinion about the art shown in this article, or talk about the ways you find your inspiration.
ps: By the way, I you haven´t already oppened a pinterest account, I recomend you to do it. In Pinterest I find many graphic material from all around the world (see Antonio Basso´s pinterest boards to understand what I mean). It´s a must.
