I would add, Robert Rauchenberg,Frank Stella,Louise Nevelson,Henry Moore,Helen Frankenthaler,Pablo Picasso,( I feel that he was the greatest XXcentury artist.) Braque,Brancussi,
Mondrian,Kandinsky. It is most difficult to choose ten great abstract artists from the .century, but is
    an interesting discussion.

Hi Bernice, thanks a lot for collaborating. Rauchenberg art is very interesing to me. Very. About Picasso there has been alot of comments in various linkedin art groups about if he is or not an abstract painter. For this voting we will consider he is not.

Thks a lot again, and please help spread the word.

A huge number 1 vote for Antoni Tapies. He’s the reason I paint now. I was overwhelmed seeing his work in person, and decided to at least attempt to paint like he did. (RIP recently).
