Abstract art on a 3 dimensions´ object

Though 3 weeks ago I said I was taking a blog posting rest, I´ve changed my mind and decided to write a new post, this time explaining you the creative process I´ve followed regarding this new 3D abstract art creation developed in my paitning studio in Barcelona for several weeks. It´s finally finished!!!!!

It´s taken me a while – read this other post where I started explaining this new abstract art concept I was the trying to figure out-.

The surface is completely new to me. It´s an ancient and used wood construction palet I´ve found in a street in Barcelona and brought home.

The idea I had in my mind before working on it, was to work on each side of the surface at the same time, trying to make the abstract piece evolve with homogeneity and aesthetical coherence.

It all starts, and you can see in the above image, leaving some fabrics on it for some days trying out different possible abstract compositions.

Once this process is finished I beggin to include and mix different materials and glues so that the fabric ens up beeing a skin to the wood palet. Once I finish this part, I tie the fabrics to the palet as much as I can. It´s kind of a interesting creative and enjoyable moment.

As the new abstract creation shows up, I add colors to it  -in this case blue color was the one I wanted to work with-. The creative process goes on untill I decide it´s finished. It normally happens when internal voices dissapear and I feel this fabulous interior peace.

Keep going on to see the final 3 abstract piece and its different sides and details.

Hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share it on your social media channels. By the way, this abstract creation is not for sale, but stay tunned for addiotional ones.

Very interesting work! I like the colors, textures, and the weaving effect! It’s as if the canvas and the frame are in a whole new relationship.
